Schedule : Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm EST (8:00pm to 5:00am Manila Time)
Job Description:
Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for pricing activity for the ad-hoc accounts to maximize profitability and efficient utilization of company assets. This position requires less supervision, more responsibility, and would create/submit smaller proposals independently. Bids will be submitted without being reviewed by a manager once trained and confident in ability. Until then, management is eager to help and review.
Key Responsibilities :
- Determine pricing consistently with company objectives as it relates to market rate and customer objectives
- Consult with Dispatch, Management and Operations teams to understand customer requirements, objectives related to pricing needs and market intelligence, as needed
- Responsible for determining pricing (e.g., spot market rates) by utilizing company systems and third party software based on current market needs
- Provide regular pricing reports and analysis to management
- Support other team members, as needed
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of relevant transportation logistics, pricing, or finance experience, or comparable combination of education, experience, and training
- Understanding of market trends and pricing strategies in the transportation logistics industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in transportation logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- English language (spoken and written)
- Google Suite and MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Spreadsheet)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Dependable PC with internet service (Need at least 2 monitors to be proficient in this role)
