Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Trainer to provide comprehensive training to Virtual Assistants, Clinical Assistants and House Staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving the accuracy and efficiency of team members.
Responsibilities:
Training and Development:

Responsible for onboarding training of the newly hired team members.

Conduct virtual training sessions for new and existing virtual assistants.

Conduct virtual training sessions for new and existing clinical assistants.

Conduct virtual training for new and existing house staff.
-
Develop and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to reflect current best practices and industry standards.

Document new processes, procedures and guidelines for the program.

Utilize various training methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and interactive activities, to enhance learning.

Collaborate with the business owner to ensure the accuracy and relevance of educational content.

Train the clinical assistants on complete assessment of medical history.

Train the clinical assistants to create a discharge summary.

Train clinical assistants in insurance compliance and assessment.

Train clinical assistants in proper documentation of clinical records.
Assessment and Evaluation:

Assess trainees’ understanding and application of clinical documentation practices through quizzes, practical exercises, and feedback sessions.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional training as needed to ensure proficiency.
Support and Mentoring:

Offer ongoing support and mentorship to virtual assistants, addressing any questions or challenges they may encounter in their roles.
- Facilitate regular check-ins and provide guidance on improving documentation quality and efficiency.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that training content adheres to healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, JCAHO).
- Promote best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection.
Qualifications:

At least college-level

Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare documentation standards.

Previous experience in training or teaching, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Ability to accurately and thoroughly teach documentation practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to effectively train and mentor virtual assistants and clinical assistants.

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.

Previous experience in a medical office, hospital, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge in the MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) or Google Workspace (G Suite) and agility in learning new internal software and systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- i5 10th Gen or equivalent, 8GB RAM, 2GB Video Card or Integrated Graphics Card, Windows 10 or macOS (no Netbooks or Chromebooks), Headset with noise cancellation feature
