About Our Client:
Based in the UK, the organization provides technology solutions. The company is continuously expanding. The team assists landlords in ensuring security by providing insurance against tenants who may not pay their rent. To facilitate this insurance, referencing checks are conducted on tenants to verify their identity, employment status, and financial capability to meet rent payments.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for ensuring information from tenants, landlords and letting agents is supplied quickly as well as acting like a mini detective to verify the accuracy of the information supplied. We use a mixture of technology, written and verbal communication to complete the references.
- You’ll need to verify the information submitted from applicants by:
- Cross-referencing against databases
- Calling previous employers for information
- Calling landlords to verify information
- Emailing tenants to chase for information
- Responding to customer service enquiries about application status
- Handling enquiries via email and telephone
- Review bank statements and payslips to ensure that they match what the applicant has told us.
Skills Required:
- Attention to detail: You will need to review information, including financial records, personal information and other details about a client’s application. Having strong attention to detail can help you notice any discrepancies in the information you review.
- Excellent/fluent oral and written communication skills. (A clear and understandable voice is necessary).
- In the UK we have many nationalities, and so you need to be able to understand and communicate clearly with clients who may not speak English well.
- Ability to multi-task.
- You don’t mind repetitive tasks, as most days will look the same.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Must work well as a member of a team and independently.
- Confidentiality is essential as you will be handling highly sensitive data.
Other:
- Must be able to work midshift (5:00pm – 1:30am which are UK hours 9:00am – 5:30pm)
- Prior admin or phone calling experience is beneficial.

- i5 10th Gen or equivalent, 8GB RAM, 2GB Video Card or Integrated Graphics Card, Windows 10 or macOS (no Netbooks or Chromebooks), Headset with noise cancellation feature
- Main Internet should be minimum of 20MBPs, wired only
