Job Description:

Our client, a UK-based owner of a fitness and real estate business, is seeking a part­ time Social Media Manager to oversee the social media accounts and marketing strategies for their fitness and real estate businesses. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the owner to develop and execute social media plans and strategies that will effectively engage with the target audience and drive traffic to their businesses. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will assist with administrative tasks to support the owner’s daily operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion rates
  • Create and manage social media content for multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Analyze data and provide insights to continuously improve social media performance
  • Collaborate with the owner to create and execute marketing campaigns for promotions and events
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Keep up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices
  • Assist the owner with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and organizing files

Qualifications : 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager in the fitness and real estate industries
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Proficient in social media platforms and tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Canva, Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and email marketing is a plus
  • Passionate about fitness and/or real estate is preferred

Requirements : 

  • Flexible availability to work part-time hours and occasional weekends as needed (2 hrs per day, 5 days a week as a start)
  • Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with the owner based in the UK
  • Access to reliable internet connection and computer
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
