Job Overview:
We are a growing B2B data & analytics consultancy helping US and European scale-ups modernise reporting and decision-making through analytics engineering, BI delivery, and managed analytics support, primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem.
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to take ownership of outbound prospecting and consistently generate qualified meetings and pipeline with our ideal customer profile (ICP). This is a hands-on, performance-driven role suited for an SDR who enjoys building outbound systems, refining messaging, and selling services-based solutions (not transactional SaaS).
Objectives of this role:
- Generate qualified meetings with decision-makers in the USA
- Build repeatable outbound systems (account lists, sequences, talk tracks) that create consistent pipeline
- Qualify inbound and outbound interest into clear next steps for the Founder
- Continuously improve messaging and targeting through experimentation and feedback loops
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily outbound activity across email, phone, and LinkedIn (Social Media) with high discipline and consistency
- Research and build targeted account lists based on ICP fit, trigger events, tech stack signals, and job changes
- Run multi-touch outbound sequences and handle objections to secure meetings with senior stakeholders
- Qualify prospects using defined criteria (current setup, pain points, urgency, authority, service fit)
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including notes, dispositions, next steps, and clean handoffs to the closer
- Report weekly on activity, conversion rates, pipeline created, and key learnings to improve performance
- Plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests on outbound messaging (email subject lines, email body copy, LinkedIn messages, call talk tracks) to improve open, reply, and meeting-booked rates
- Use performance data to refine targeting, value propositions, and sequencing based on real-world results
- Document learnings from tests and apply winning variants across active outbound campaigns
- Support follow-ups and closing activities when required, including coordinating next steps, reinforcing value propositions, and assisting the Founder in moving qualified opportunities forward
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in SDR/BDR (or equivalent) selling B2B services (IT services preferred; data/analytics ideal)
- Demonstrated outbound success selling into the USA market
- Strong English communication (written and verbal) with confident cold calling capability
- Comfortable working to targets and operating in a performance-driven environment
- Proficient with Sales Navigator and CRM workflows (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar)
- Strong organisation: can manage sequences, follow-ups, and pipeline without being chased
- Experience selling analytics, BI, or data engineering services (Power BI, Fabric, Azure data tools a plus)
- Experience selling retainers or managed services, not just one-off projects
- Familiarity with outbound tooling (sequencers, enrichment tools, dialers) and basic email deliverability best practices
- Prior experience targeting SMEs with fast sales cycles and outcomes-led buying
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and continuous learning.
